The Nintendo DS
Ah yes, The Nintendo DS. Nintendo wanted to revolutionize the way gamers play forever with the Nintendo DS. It is not the next game, (Notice, it's for once, Nintendo has not called it another Gameboy. This is the first portable system without the name "Gameboy" in it!)
Nintendo has said there will be another gameboy, following the SP. This is not expected to hurt Nintendo DS sales, although some are worried it will.
Nintendo has tried to aim for an older audience, targetting teens or older players. However, the games don't always match, and still feel cutesy and childish in some games which turns some older gamers away.
The Nintendo is revolutionary. It uses a touch screen, it has wi-fi, and it has not one, but 2 screens! It is also the first portable that can display 3D graphics! Wow!
The game comes with software built in called Pictochat. This enables people to chat if they are within 100 feet of another Nintendo DS. Like cheating in class!
I have a Nintendo DS, and a PSP. But more on that later.
I was truly impressed when I opened my Nintendo DS. It came well packaged, with 2 stylus. It also came with a thumb strap, to use on the touch screen. The Nintendo uses wi-fi, this means, someday, it could go online with games that are capatible with it.
I have WarioWare, Metroid prime(the demo it comes with), Feel the magic, and Super Mario 64.
